When Radar returns he is given the tragic news that his

beloved uncle has died. Potter grants him a hardship discharge

but Radar feels that he can't leave as long as Klinger will be

the clerk. Hawkeye is angry when he finds out that Radar may

reject a discharge that most men would kill for. Klinger,

however, pulls through and deals for a new generator and Radar

agrees to go home. As they are about to say goodbye to the

departing Radar, the staff of the 4077 have to deal with

incoming wounded. Potter bids a tearfull farewell to Radar as

he tries to do triage.
